I finally recieved my order yesterday and my pack of 10 lights arrived. After I plugged them in I was shocked, they were not the bright white LED lights but yellow! I called HQ right away. The woman from HQ Was nice but not helpful. All she said is, "you can return them if you are not happy. This is what we have in stock currently. I can not tell you when we will get the whiter lights in stock. This happened about 6 months ago. You are the first person I have spoken with that is having this problem."

When I tried to ask about how will I know when they get the correct white lights in she said she had no idea.

When I asked, do I call to see if they are available she replied they would not know.

What? Am I suppose to keep ordering these every few weeks until I happen to get a good batch? What is going on at HQ. She did tell me it was a Vendor problem. I guessed that, just like the leaders a year ago had a vendor problem. I ended up making my own leaders and this spring I finally did get the correct leaders for my machine. So HQ did come through after 6 months.

My problem is I need at least one new Bright white 3 prong plug in light, one of mine that came with the machine has one light burned out. I just ordered ten since I do have room for more lights. The yellow cast lights don't give off any light that is usable to see with. It was if I added pale yellow Christmas lights.

Anybody on this forum have that same issue? How long did it take before HQ got the correct White lights back in stock? I realize HQ is having vendor issues but please, tell your phone people answers that will help the customer. I have no idea when I can even try to reorder these lights. It would have been great if she could have told me, call this number or ask for this extension to see if the plug in lights problem has been resolved and we now have them in stock. I only left with ordering until I finally get the correct lights?

I also was suppose to get an email this morning so I can print out some return lable/form so I can get these yellow lights shipped back but it is 11:04 am central time and I still don't have that. These lights have to go back because at $10 each they are too expensive to keep when they don't do the job they are suppose to do. I will have to keep checking through out the day. *I leave on a vacation Friday the 6th and will be gone for a week. I really want these sent back asap.

Over all I love my machine but I am not too impressed by hearing vendor problem for the second time in one year.It is too bad it didn't arrive during the Quilt Expo in Des Moines. I live in DM and the HQ people were here. Oh well.

Thank you for the reply. I did just print off the return label to ship the order back.

I do like the idea of spacing the lights out with the other lights. Maybe I will try that first. I do leave for a vacation tomorrow and don't return until the 15th so I will have to wait a week to try this idea out. Today is packing day. I will call HQ if I don't like the results to see if this label I just printed out will still be good. Maybe I will not mind the lights mixed together.

The lights in my machine are the bright white LED lights. If you have seen the Bendable Light being sold for extra light on sewing machines you will have an idea of how bright my lights are. I just love them. I can see a lot of detail when I am working on my HQ 16. One of those "best invention since slice bread" items.
