Accessories and the Sit Down HQ16

I just purchased the Sit Down HQ16 and have a few questions.

1) Can you uses the Horizontal Thread Spool Pin with the Sit Down HQ?

2) Can you use the Ruler Base & 12" Ruler with the Sit Down HQ? If not, how would you do stitch in the ditch?

3) Is it necessary to only use cones (thread coming off the top) or can you use spools as well (perahps only with the horizontal spool pin?)

Yes, you can use the Horizontal Spool Pin with your Sit down HQ. You can use a 12" ruler but you do not need a ruler base with the sit down. The table will be your base. You can use spools of thread as well as the cones. Some people like to put their spools on the Horizontal Spool Pin but that is not necessary.
