Bobbin thread keeps wrapping around post

Can you tell me what I am doing wrong.. The Bobbin thread wraps around the bobbin case post. Doesn't do it all the time maybe I can get a whole row done , 109" wide and then the next row might catch 3-4 times. I've changed bobbins (prewound Superior) and changed bobbin cases.. it's like it spins too fast.. anyone had this problem?

Even though no one has responded i thought I'd tell you what I finally did... I took both cardboards off didn't help, I took the top one off , no change, I added the little telfon disk from Schamber, didn't do any difference... Finally I left both cardboards on and that seemed to stop the thread catching on the post... I've only had a problem with the red bobbins and now the linen white...

I'm sorry you did not get a response sooner. Your solution is exactly what I would have recommended you to do. On the Avante and the Fusion, the cardboard needs to be left on, because they go so fast. The bobbin tends to keep spinning with the cardboard off and and the thread gets wrapped around the middle post of the bobbin case. I have not had that problem with the HQ16, but if it does accure, that is what I would recommend doing (leaving the cardboard on).
