Bringing up bobbin thread

| When the bobbin runs out of thread in mid pattern and I have to back up, I replace the bobbin thread and hit a 'full stitch' to bring up the bobbin thread. Thereafter I 'resume' and then the HQ16 tells me it is going to 'move into position'. Is there a way to bring up the bobbin thread after it has moved into position and before it restarts stitching? |

Connie,
Once you have hit "resume" and the machine moves into position, the way to bring up your bobbin thread is to hold the top thread with both hands on both sides of the hopping foot. As the machines takes the first stitch, quickly sweep the thread under the hopping foot and it should catch the bobbin thread hold both threads while the machine takes a few stitches. | Wow, I never would have thought of that! It really pays to ask questions. |
