Broken Thread Alert

I have a new Fusion. The alert message for broken bobbin or top thread goes off after 5 stitches and drives me crazy! There isn't a broken thread. It is threaded correctly. It sews fine.

I know how to shut off the alert (I have) but why should I have to do that? What else should I check? I've rethreaded and redone the bobbin. I also shut off the machine, let it rest, and restarted.
