| Beautiful!!! Love your color combinations and your quilting designs compliment the blocks. Looks like it would be fun working on the bright colors. |

| I purchased the 7 inch and 3.5 inch Drunkard's Path templates from Elisa Wilson's Back Porch Designs. As I was cutting out the pieces was when the design literally POPPED into my head. I, personally, call it OPPOSITES ATTACH. Because of the way I put the final blocks together I had left over pieces so put those on as a first border. When I laid the lime green fabric next to the quilt is was "lacking" a bit of a punch. So I framed the quilt with a piping I made from hand dyed fabric and acrylic yarn. Then when I went to attach the binding, because of the crosshatch in the second border the binding looked "out of place" so I created a second piping to create a break between the binding and border. I used about 28 various fat quarters for the circles. If you would like, since I'm getting ready to make a second one, I'll be glad to write the information as I go and send it too you. |
