I have recently purchased a used HQ16 and ProStitcher, and am interested in whether there is a way to convert Quiltmaker patterns to use with the ProStitcher. When I contacted the Quiltmaker folks at EQ, they advised that Quiltmaker Quilting Designs CDs by themselves have no export capability, and that people who have EQ6 are exporting the Quiltmaker Quilting Designs from XP as .jpegs, .gifs, .tifs, .bmps or .png files, then using file conversion software to change the file format into a format their machine can read. My plan was to purchase EQ6 and export the files that I wanted to use as one of the file formats above. Will QuiltCad be able to import those files once exported as jpegs, gifs, tifs, etc.?
QuiltCAD can read a jpeg. or a bmp. You will then have to digitize it in PatterCAD for it to be able to be a stitch file. It will then be exported as a hqf. to be used on your Pro-Stitcher.
