Double-Sided Tape for Attaching the Tracks

| I purchased a used machine and, therefore, did not receive any two-sided tape for attaching the tracks. Does anyone have any advice as to what type of two-sided tape to purchase at the hardware store and any hints on how to best install the tape (the entire length of the tracks, etc.)...Thanks, Brenda |

| The tape that comes with the machine is made by 3M and are 1 inch long tab like pieces. I think you can even get them at WalMart in the paint department. I only stuck my tracks down where they bowed up from the table. You really don't need to go the whole length. |

| You could probably use carpet tape. |

What I'm finding with the way the tracks are installed using these 3m tape strip things is that they do cause enough of a raise in the track at that point that is causing uneven and uneasy maneuvering of the machine. At first I thought it was my table, then thought it was the bars or something. But as I'm paying for attention to where it happens, this unease in motion with machine is happening at all the places where the tape stips are. I'm going to post a discussion on that and see if anyone else comments. |
