Fusion Trip counter

I have difficulty remembering to reset my trip counter on my Fusion at the proper time. If I reset it to zero after finishing a quilt, then turn off the machine, the zero reset value doesn't "stick". When I turn the machine back on for another project, the counter has returned to its previous number.
If I take even a single stitch before shutting off, the count is remembered. Only zero doesn't work. I have found the trip counter to be a useful tool for estimating bobbin use, etc., but aggravating when I realize that I didn't remember to reset to zero just before starting a project. |

Can you please let us know what version of c-pod and display software you have on your machine?
Thanks! |

Board Firmware
c-pod 1.10 1.20 handle 1.00 1.20 display 1.00 1.02 s# HF010923309 Something else: This may be normal, but my two displays don't coordinate. For example, if I click OK to a thread break message on one handle, the message remains on the opposite handle. I seldom to never get a message when I actually run out of bobbin thread. I may sew quite a while before I notice a difference in the sound and look to see that the bobbin is empty. |

The Fusion (and Avante) will save the setup parameters and stitch counters only when you finish quilting and stop the machine. Because of this it is nearly impossible to save a zero count since the machine has to be started and stopped to save the new count value. If you remember to clear the stitch counter when you first turn the machine on, you should not have any problems.
Please call your rep or Handi Quilter customer service and they will address the other questions you have about how the machine operates. |
