| I've switched to robotic quilting with my HQ16 and no longer need my groovy boards. I'm selling the stylus ($90), 4 baptist fan ($30 each), 4 oh my stars ($30 each), 4 clam shells ($30 each), 4 feather border ($30 each), 1 feather corner ($20), 4 ivy hearts ($30 each), 2 aztec ($30 each), spirals/circle board ($45), feather wreaths board ($45). This is a significant savings off the retail price. All are in brand new, barely used condition. Please email me at clh@howder.com if you are interested. Thanks. |

Hi, I am real curious what you mean by robotic quiting? I am still so new at this that I don't really understand how groovy boards work besides robotic quilting. Thanks Kathy |

| Robotoc quilting is where you let the robot do your quilting. The robot part is actually the carriage the HQ16 sits on, which is connected to your computer. On the computer, you bring up a pattern you want to stitch, position the needle where you want to start stitching on the quilt, and the robot stitches it out for you. There are several robotic quilting, like Statler Stitcher, Compuquilter, Intelliquilter, and PC Quilter. |

Hi Clah, I now have a Juki98Q/B-Line Studio setup and I'm very interested in the HQ-16. What computerized system did you pick and what influenced that decision? What changes did you have to make on your frame (ie:carriage, track)? Is it very expensive? Thanks Ethel |

Hi Ethel, I started with the B-line stand alone frame with the Brother 1500. I now have the HQ16 on the bline frame; only adjustment was spacers and long screws in the two front wheels on the HQ carriage. LOVE IT! Everything is easier; bobbin changes, threading, etc. than on a DM on a frame. Ann C |

| I bought the PC Quilter. It's soooo amazing to watch it do its job of stitching out a quilt motif, or edge-to-edge - perfect, perfect, perfect stitch outs! I could never get the hang of following a design without wiggling lines or followng a laser light, other than simple meandering. The frame, the track, and the HQ16 need to be adjusted to fit the robot carriage (replaces the HQ16 carriage). Once these have been done and the PC Quilter calibrated with your computer, it's a breeze to bring up a design, position the needle, and then let the robot do the quilting. I see that Handiquilter is also getting into computerized quilting with their Pro-Stitcher. I understand it will be available to the public early Novemeber. But I'm also told it's rather pricey. The PC Quilter does the job and is very affordable, compared to other systems. |

Hi all, I've sold about half of the groovy boards I had. This is what I have left: 4 clam shells ($30 each), 4 baptist fans ($30 each), 2 aztec ($30 each), spirals/circles ($45), feather wreaths ($45). If you're interested, it's a pretty good deal with savings for you, please email clh@howder.com. I'll be listing what's left on ebay soon. |
