what is the differance between 1 and 11? I have handi quilter 1. King size

The handiquilter 11 has velcro leaders and side clamps. The 1 needs to be taped and the side straps are pinned. It looks like the arms and maybe the deck that the sewing machine sits on are made of different materials. I used to have a 1 before getting my HQ 16. It gave me some experience on free motion quilting, but I much prefer the extra space (both directions) that comes with the mid arm.
