Has anyone used the Handi Versa Tool? Looks as if it could come in very handy but would like some feed back on it before I buy it.

I love the versa tool but find the sharp corner on the one end gets caught up when it hits the thread plate. I wish the thread plate and ruler base were flush. Other than that, when I use it correctly, I really enjoy using it.

Thanks, Cheryl... I'm a real newbie and don't have any experience using rulers. I do have the plain one and the VersaTool, and I do have the ruler base. But I feel pretty klutzy trying to hang on to the machine and the ruler while starting to stitch, for instance, and would love to see a video or have instructions.

The Versa Tool is great. We demoed one at a longarm group meeting that has member with all brands of machines. Everyone loved it and made a beeline to the shops to get one. I love using it to add binding to the quilt before I remove it from the frame.

There is an educational video under the "Education" portion of the Handi Quilter website. Go to Education, then videos, tips and tricks. Then go to the how to videos and find the one on the versa tool. You will find lots of additional information here also.
