| A king size quilt will got edge to edge on your frame. If you are doing a super king, I would suggest quilting the main body of the quilt first then do the borders last. It works, you just have to watch it real close |

crashnquilt, I am going to be doing a large king quilt. It is 123 inches wide. Have you loaded one that large? I have the king set up but this will extend past the leaders. The total border width is 10 inches on each side. I appreciate any good tips you could give me. Thx so much! |

| Oh, so you are doing a SUPER KING. I have done one of those on the HQ. I quilted the center portions first, leaving the borders for last. When I went to do the borders, I had to unpin from the leader, moved it to the far left, re-pinned, quilted the one border as far as I could safely, then unpin , move to far right and then repin to finish the one border. Then I repeated this on all 4 borders turning the quilt as I went along. Hope this makes sense. If not, let me know and I'll see if I can explain it a bit better. |

| Thanks crashnquilt, that makes sense. I can't wait to get it loaded and start. My friends and I are having so much fun with my HQ sixteen. It quilts like a dream. Thx again for your help. This forum has answered so many of my questions. |
