The HQ16 sit-down model would not work with the PC Quilter because it is not on a frame and does not move. You should probably contact PCQ to find out what machines work with it.

I have the HQ16 and PCQ and I'm not sure you got the right answer. You might be able to use your model of HQ16 is you put it on a Studio Model PCQ. the machine sits on top of the Studio model but you would also have to have a frame to put it on... You need to check with PCQ home office.
But I think it would work.
