I Want to do Circles!

| Is the groovy board the best way to do circle designs on your quilt with the HQ16? I've looked at the Circle Lord and the E-Z System and am not sure if the groovy board would work the same way - any help is always appreciated. I've had my machine since December and absolutely love it. I just bought the ruler base and am looking to expand my designing with circles. |

I don't have a groovy board or Circle Lord, but what kind of circles are you trying to do? You can get plastic templates for circles in various sizes........ Lil from Napa CA |

I just received the circle lord last Thursday and played with it yesterday, it is great. I also have groovy boards and they are 2 different things. Michael at circle lord is great to work with. Highly recommends this if you want to do circles, with the templates you can do several different things, worth looking at. Debbie Fort Collins, CO |

I just took a class at MQX on the HQ using rulers. I will be making my circles with the HQ half circle templates. They come in a 6 piece set and you can make 11 different size circles as you use both the outside curve and inside curve of each template. Enjoy which ever technique you choose! Ann in MA |
