Machine seems noisy

My HQ-16 seems quite noisy. I've read some posts on the forum that said you should have your machine serviced every year, but I have only had my since Oct. 2009, not even a year. I do all the recommended oiling and cleaning of the bobbin area. A question - do you have to send the machine head to Handi-Quilter, or can my dealer service it? I have a local dealer. Any other suggestions would be appreciated also.

Sarah,

Thank you for your question concerning having your machine serviced. Your local rep should be able to service your HQ Sixteen. It is good to have them serviced regularly especially if you use your machine a lot.
