When sewing left to right the machine works fine, but as soon as the stitches start to go up or down the machine begins to get very long stitch lengths and then stops after a few stitches. The other day I was was doing loops and noticed that on the down/upward swing it was getting out of it's "regulated" mode and today i'm trying to quilt around a square, and as i'm going down the side that's when it stops. Any ideas? I'm using the same thread, needle, tension length and quilter's fabric that has been previously used on the machine without any difficulties.
