Machine won't turn on AT ALL!

| I just moved a month ago and my 1st generation HQ16 and table made the move too. I have been itching to quilt, so tonight I set it all up, retaped everything to the table, and was ready to put in a quilt. However, when I plugged in the machine and pushed the power switch, nothing. No lights, no beeps, nothing. HELP!!! |

Have you made sure the plug you are using is working? Plug a working lamp into it and turn the lamp on.. I'd start there first... Or if you are using a serge protector (you should be) make sure it is working too .. just try something simple that you know is working..,. didn't you just say you moved??? Or is this plug on a light switch????

| Judy, you were right. Our house is brand new, and my Handiquilter was the 1st thing plugged into that outlet. A lamp plugged into it didn't work either. Seems the contractor hadn't connected that outlet at the box. Once my put my husband on the case, he got the outlet connected, and all is right with the world! Thanks for your help. |
