Needle Bar Does Not Come All The Way Up

I have recently set up my HQ16 for the 1st time. I quilted most of the weekend and had trouble with the Needle Up & Needle Down process. The Needle Bar does not always raise to the highest position. I have been manually raising the Needle Bar when this has happen. Has anyone else experienced this?

Try a little of the machine oil on the rod that holds the needle. I use a Q-tip and put on a little oil. My dealer told me to use a little oil on both the needle holder and the hopping foot rod. Hope this helps.
