Does the Pro Stitcher updates ever come up with new patterns? I haven't had a chance to go to a class yet and I would like more patterns. Even for purchase.
Thanks! Kim |

The designs with the Pro-Stitcher are from the QuiltCAD company (Grace). In the past, there have been new designs included with the updates.
For new designs, you can scan a picture onto your computer, bring it into PatternCAD and digitize it. You can also get designs to digitize by going to Google. Let's say you want a snowman. Type in either "snowman coloring book" or "snowman clip art". Save it to your computer by using "cut" and "paste". Remember where it has been saved so you can retreive it in PatternCAD to digitize. After the design is digitized, it would then be downloaded onto a jumpdrive and used on the Pro-Stitcher. There are also hundreds of designs to purchase, and even some free ones you can get. If you Google "quilting digitized designs" or something similiar to that, several websites come up that you can purchase designs from. The Pro-Stitcher can only read hqf., qli., or txt., so be sure to only purchase these files. I hope this information is helpful. Kathi Salter Handi Quilter Studio Educator |
