| Your quilt is absolutely wonderful. Would you mind sharing how you quilted this, i.e. template, ruler, etc. ? I am fairly new at this and am always interested how each quilt is done. Thanks so much for sharing a great project. |

The stars were done with the HANDI QUILTER RULER. I would lay the ruler on the stitching line and then follow to the next point. That will make your lines 1/4" apart. I did 9 "spirals" to the inside on each star. The continous curves were done with the HANDI VERSA TOOL. I would stitch one curve, flip, stitch, flip, stitch...worked great. These are the two tools that get the most "abuse" I do have other longarm rulers but I always go back to these two. They seem to be the easiest to handle for me. If you need more information, just let me know. I'll try posting pics of the techniques. If you don't have the ruler base and these two rulers you need to purchase them asap! |
