Offset every other row

Hello, I want to offset every other row so the pattern does not 'line up'. I tried to do it through cropping but that didn't work because the quilt is as large as my frame. Thank you

Are you using the Pro-Stitcher, a groovy board, or a pantograph? There is a different answer to each process.
