Pause button on ProStitcher

| When I need to pause the machine using the Pro Stitcher, I touch the pause button but nothing happens. I have to touch the screen several times before the machine actually stops stitching. What would be the correct setting for the Pause button? |

When stitching out a pattern and you need to pause in the middle of it, if you push the "pause" button one time, does it respond within 2 to 5 seconds? Do you need to push it more than once before it will respond at all? If it never stops after pushing it only once, it may have something wrong with the monitor. If it DOES stop within 2-5 seconds after pushing it only once it is working properly. The Pro-Stitcher can take up to about 5 seconds to respond to the pause, depending on how the pattern was created, how much it has been stretched or reduced, etc.
See which problem you are having--make sure that you only push the pause button once and see if responds or not. Let me know what happens. Kathi Salter Handi Quilter Studio Educator |

Hi Kathi,
It does stop after one touch but those 5 seconds are an eternity when it is at the 65 to 70 speed stitching madly along with or without bobbin thread. I would love an immediate pause feature with the next update ;) I suspect that the emergency stop is not a good alternate.....? |
