I haven't ordered the DVD serios for my HQ16, plan to. I've been practicing with pantos. I can get the feel down pretty good but it's going to the next row of the pattern and getting it spaced correctly that I'm having trouble with. Downloaded a tutorial from Long Arm U and Got an email from Debra Geisler on her designs about placing the laser on the top circle in the pattern, putting needle down, rolling quilt and then putting laser on bottom circle . . . . I'm lost. Is there an easy way to do it? Help :)
I've found the easest way is to quilt your first row then move the laser to the highest point on the panto put your neddle down and roll your quilt so the laser is hitting the same point on the half row of the design that is there to help line up your design. This works great as long as you don't mind having the design run off the quilt at the bottom.
Thanks, fentonquilter

I have actually been doing just as you suggested and it works just fine.
and I purposely start just a waise off the top so that the desin runs off on all four sides.

Thanks for giving me the tip.
