Has anyone had an issue with the pro stitcher not stitching the pattern correctly? The machine will follow the pattern on the screen, however the stitching does not match the pattern. HELP!
We had the same issue. When we traced it out, it worked, but then it would not stich in the right spot. We called HandiQuilter, and got it resolved. Here is what the problem is.

On the bottom part of the handiquilter, where all of the gears are, you have to tighten up the set screws. The set screws are hexnut, and the size is 1/16 th. The set screws are actually on the part that comes out of the motors. There are two screws on each one, about 30 degrees away from each other. You will need to tighten both the vertical and hortizontal screws (4 total). When i tightened them, I thought they were tight, but they needed just a little extra on them.

I also found out that you have to tighten them about every 2 quilts, to make sure that they don't mess up.

BEST OF LUCK
Thanks for the information. I am going to call Handi Quilter today and see what they say. That sounds very logical and I hope that is all it is. I really love the Pro Stitcher and was very disappointed that this has happened. I will post tomorrow and let everyone know what the issue was.
I called Handi Quilter about this issue on Friday. The engineer was in a meeting and didn't return my call. I hope I have better luck tomorrow to get this issue resolved.
I'm having the same problem with ProStitcher. The designs I've adapted from QuiltCad stitch out differently than on the screen. Even the designs on the thumbdrive don't stitch out the same as on the screen. And they don't stitch out the same whonky way each time. I've called two days now and left messages for a technician but no reply as yet. I did tighten the set screws as djayh20 suggested. They were a bit loose but this didn't take care of the problem. My dealer has been on vacation for 2 weeks and I have quilts to get done. The wheels seems to be making perfect contact. The cables are tight. There is no thread or obstruction on the blue tracks. I've watched the videos many times, gone through the tutorials, and am pulling my hair out. I can free motion quilt in regulated mode so am convinced it is something with the ProStitcher. Any ideas?
Success! I talked to Richard and he walked me through the resolution of the problem. It was necessary to tighten two set screws. dyay20 also mentioned tightening screws but these were two I had not done. I am so happy to be able to use my ProStitcher! Remember the old commercial, "when she was good she was very good...when she was horrible she was horrible."
My problem was solved also by Richard and Greg at Handi Quilter. It was the set screws that needed tightening. My husband put lock-tite on them, so I hope they don't loosen again. I still have a slight problem that Richard is looking at, but I was able to finish my step-son's airforce quilt last night! It is very frustrating when you can't get immediate tech support, or even go to a knowledge base to search for answers to your questions. I guess this forum and the Yahoo forum are my knowledge base.... Thanks djayh20 and ownedoff.....
