Pro-Stitcher Stitchouts

I have had my HQ Pro Stitcher for about 10 months and have stitched maybe 5 quilts a month. Several months ago I purchased a design that was a series of curves but the design stitched out the curves as if it were a series of little straight lines. It stitched out the way it looked on the monitor.
I just loaded another design that I have used several times in the past, and again the design looks like a series of straight lines on the monitor. I decided to used it in it's original size and not enlarge it as it is perfect for the quilt and the straight lines are not as noticeable in the smaller size. It stitches out better, but there are also other stitch anomilies that I am not happy, little jigs and jags here and there, and not consistently in the same place in the design. I am very careful to not touch the rails, or smooth the quilt so the stitching will not be compromised.
I look at other quilter's stitchouts and their curves and swirls are nice and round. Has anyone had this happen? What to do?

Just to let everyone know, I did contact the digitizer with the info and guess what, she fixed whatever needed fixing and the designs are wonderful again. The curves are curves!
