Wow! That is very strange! I would call the helpdesk in the morning. They will need to address this, as I have no idea. I've never heard of this before. Good luck!

Have you checked to confirm that you do not have any cables in a bind? Also, check your cables for any kind of break.

Also, if you have any "folds" in your cables straighten them out, this causes breaks in the tiny wires in the cables.
