Quilt Cad/Vista Compatibility

Hello. I have to replace my laptop and am wondering if there are any compatability issues I need to be aware of between the Quilt Cad program and Vista. You can still get XP at Dell but only in the extremely high-end laptops and I'm just not a gamer so don't want to spend $4,000.00 on a computer. Any advice will be most appreciated.
