I have my Handiquilter table and HQ16 all set up and running. Now I am having a problem with vibration when I am quilting. The table is stable and not moving...just the quilt.
Any hints or suggestions?

Do you have all three locks engaged with the quilt, back and batting evenly tensioned? I've never experienced this and hope you find the problem quickly.
I found that the rails vibrated and were noisy. My dealer said to tape them down. I used blue painters tape and it works great. My quilt was not vibrataing.

I had some vibration once and found out that the bars were not even. One of them was a bit higher than the other, when I got them both the same heights off the table it quit so I assumed that was the issue. Keeping in mind, I use a Gracie Pro table so mine is probably different than most.
I had my quilt vibrate a lot, and discovered it was because the back rail, where the quilt rolls on, was too high. Put it down, and not a bit of vibration.
I had a vibration problem when I first got my machine. The back rail being too high can cause the quilt itself to jump. I had a problem with the machine head vibrating. I took a piece of PVC pipe about 15 inches long, filled it with lead shotgun shot, and put end caps on both ends. When I work pantos from the back it straddles the front handles and makes things much more stable. I don't need it when working from the front. I guess my hands compensate for the weight. Good luck.
Thanks, everyone. Your comments helped.
