Quilting a Triple Irish Chain

I will be getting 3 quilts with this pieced pattern. Two of them just want a pantogram design such as Chantilly Lace the other is not sure. I was thinking of a flower motif in the white area and a meandering feather (if i am brave enough) throughout the chain. Any other ideas out there?
