| I would like some tips and suggestions on how to best "reverse" stitch while the quilt is on the frame. I am afraid I will put a hole in my quilt when I use my normal seam ripper...the stitches seem so tight to get ahold of... |

| I am an expert at "unsewing". One way I do it on a quilt on the HQ frame is to pull up on the top thread enough to see the bobbin thread come up through the hole. You can then put a needle, seam ripper, or whatever you are using under the top thread, between the bobbin thread and the next stitch and pull up so that the top thread comes through. This is done stitch by stitch but it is amazing how quick you can become at this technique and no holes in the fabric. |

When I have to take out the stitches I have done. I do it from the back as the bobbin tread is much easier to take out. I do it on while still on the frame. I loosen up the quilt, and put a chair in front and have a set. fayestone |
