I am quilting denim. I have crashed 2 machines sewing this quilt together. I am planning on yarn tie the quilt when finished sewing it together. I need a heavy duty machine. Any suggestions for one under $300??? Thanks for those experienced with this.

I think it might be hard to find a heavy duty machine for under 300.00. I have a Bernina that sews on Denim but it does require a special needle. Have you tried using a needle that is for heavy duty fabrics? I also have an older Kenmore sewing machine that sews on just about anything, it is all metal. What types of machines have you been using that have crashed?
