| Hi, I'm getting my machine this week (!!). I purchased the adjustable table (width and height). I'm a shorty and if possible, I would like my table to go lower than the lowest setting. Has anyone done anything to shorten the table height? cut the legs?? Thanks.... |

| Hi SnoopyHarley! I also wanted my table to be lower. (I have the adjustable height/length table from Handiquilter). Even with the table at the lowest setting, I didn't feel I was comfortable for longer periods of quilting time. While I couldn't adjust my table any lower, my husband made a solution to bring me up higher! He made a platform by cutting a sheet of 4x8 plywood in half lengthwise. (I only have my table extended to 8 feet because of space constraints). He then framed the underneath with 2x4s. That brings me up almost four inches. Just enough. It works for me! 'Hope you can find a similar solution to your height issue! |
