HI, my clamps wont hold the side bar things, and we went and got more clamps and they wont hold either, the rails make the side bar things lop sided...and the whole thing fell over and collapsed on the floor because the clamps couldnt hold it...its not a very good design, i'm sad to say..
lisag,
What type of table do you have? Make sure you check your instructions again to insure you have everything installed properly. I have the quilt table that extends to accomodate a king size quilt. So far I haven't had any trouble with mine. My table is set up all the time so we are going to bolt the set up to the table in the the pre drilled square holes on the table using carriage bolts (3/8 X 2"long).
My husband said you may have the clamps on too tight. Loosen the wooden handle a little and see if that helps. Let us know how you do.
Hi, well we got 2 resin tables right now. so we are going to find a new table this weekend, more of a solid one, but the side bars wont sit straight ontop of the rails, I dont have it set up for the king size, as the room isnt big enough, but for just the regular. I keep the table set up all the time, but I just started using it. I did a smaller wall hanging it was fine, but when I try straighten the fabric on the bars, the thing fell apart..thanks for the info Maybe bolting it would be better with some kind of brackets, will keep you posted..thanks.
