skipped stitches

| I have an HQ16 and have a problem with skipped stitches when I quilt up from the bottom and am using invisible or metallic threads. I use Sew Fine in the bobbin. I've tried increasing the bobbin tension, decreasing the top tension, turning the needle to the 7 o'clock position, and only running the top thread through 1 or 2 of the 3 guide holes. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

When you are using invisible or metallic thread you should loosen both the top and bobbin thread because they are a delicate thread. Try this and if it doesn't help call into our customer service department at 1-877-697-8458, M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Thank you, Cheryl Duncan Handi Quilter Studio Educator |
