skipped stitches

I am new to the HQ16 sit down model. My tension top and bottom look good.
However, I get skipped stitches every so often. The thread does not break.
I have changed needles, re-threaded the machine and changed bobbins. What
else can I try.

One thing to check is if the needle is in straight. If you continue to have issues with skipping, call Handi Quilter and talk to one of the educators. We will help you figure out what may be happening. Our hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM MST.
