Skipped stitches

Okay, I've done all the recommended "fixes" and I still have skipped stitches. Does anyone have any positive input to this problem? I have used three different needles, two different needle sizes, and here I am, with the same problem. I have also incorporated moving at a snail's pace when quilting using the stitch regulator.

I'd be most grateful for any input.

Is your quilt rolled up too tight? I've heard this causes skips. You need a little slack in it.

If you tried all you can think of to fix the problem, call Handi Quilter or your dealer. It might be a simple fix or something mechanical. Good Luck.
