| Just curious, at what speed do most people set their machine at when quilting. I have a HQ that had the stitch regulator added just last year. |

| I have mine set at about 50 and have not had any problems with it. I just love the stitch regulator. |

| I have my manual setting at 10 for basting, which works really well for me. Otherwise I use the stitch regulator. |

I got my machine when they first came out so I have no SR. I go at about 72 for most things - pantos or freehand from the front. I find if I go too slow it looks more wobbly... just turn the speed up and cruise! If I'm doing SID I usually run 29-34. Deb |

| My machine came with the stitch regulator on it and I love it. I set it at 10 stitches per inch and it stays consistent whether I go slow or fast. Can't go too fast though, or it can't keep up. But a steady medium rhythm works great. |

Hey! I usually set at 9 stitches per inch, but if I'm doing something intricate I might do 10 or 11...just small enough so it looks good and I can go as fast as I feel comfortable, without my machine yelling at me. Have fun! Samantha |

| I run at 50 for most things (except basting) I know Suzanne runs a lot at 70 and I see some of you do. The only time I cranked it up my thread broke so naturally I blamed it on the speed.........lol |

| If I run without the regulator then I set my speed at about 35. Since I'm really new to this I'm a movin' kinda slow. |
