Stitch Regulator Cable

I have an HQ16 and ProStitcher. The flat stitch regulator cable with the little pin connections ALWAYS comes loose. When I am using the ProStitcher and the cable comes out, the machine just stitches a straight line. After I Pause and rip out the straight stitches, the P.S. doesn't know what it stitched so the Backup function is all off.

The flat cable is not caught on anything, they just hang loose under the machine. Is there a way that I can secure this connector?
