Stitch Regulator set up

I am fairly new to HQ (received machine in December) and I am still learning so much. I was reading a post on another HQ group where a member was discussing tracks, etc. and she stated that her stitch regulator wheel needed to ride on the table. I have the studio frame and my rep. set it up with my wheel riding on the front track. Which is correct?

I have not had time to go back to set up instructions that came with machine, so I may be asking a useless question. Of course, my concerns stem from the fact that the rep also said that my SR wheel attachment was bent when it came out of box but he bent it back to make it work. Of course, this makes me concerned anytime I read about something that concerns the SR.

Any information that will ease my concerns will be greatly appreciated.

The stitch regulator should ride on the front track. You can move your stitch regulator very carefully so I am sure your rep did it correctly.
