Stitch Regulator

| About six months ago I purchased a Simply Sixteen and love it. I was told by the dealer at the time of purchase that I could add a stitch regulator to my machine in the future. I recently considered doing and was informed that I could not buy just the stitch regulator, but would have to buy the full upgrade ($3500). Quite a shock after being led to believe that I could purchase the stitch regulator and not all of the other "bells and whistles". Is this correct? |

Unfortunately that is correct. It is less expensive to buy a stitch regulated machine, than to buy a Simply Sixteen and upgrade to regulated later, however, it is less expensive and simpler to upgrade than to sell your machine and buy a regulated machine. A Simply Sixteen has a pod that is not computerized. You will need a computer pod, a set of handlebars that go with the computer pod and the regulator for the carriage and the machine. It is true what the dealer said when he told you it could be converted to a regulated machine, but there is a $3500 expense to do it.
