Stitch speed won't change

I installed the latest update to the HQPro and set the speed to slow before starting to stitch knowing I could increase it later (I watched the DVD). However, the speed control did not work. In fact, nothing I do now will make it go faster. 10 minutes per row is keeping me from taking advantage of this beautiful day. What am I doing wrong? I have totally rebooted with power off. No luck.

I think this might of had something to do with the pattern I modified in PatternCAD. On the next quilt I used two different standard patterns (unmodified) that came with the HQ and the stitch speed picked up to normal. I will let tech support know if I see a problem.
