I saw this at my mom's house and took it home. It is perfect for my longarm. I couldn't quilt due to a foot injury, but I can with this. It is very light weight. I like the 3-leg design. I'm using mine on thick carpet with thick padding. I just stand up a bit and put my hand down and move the stool right or left (lifting it slightly). I've seen a lot of heavier stools on the market--this is a good light stool. I'm not quite five feet, and I have no problem with the lowest setting. Although it is padded, you may not want to sit on it all day. It's wonderful for working with the micro handles as well. I think it's on Amazon for $10 less.

Thanks for the link! I've been looking for a stool to use with my HQ. This one looks pretty good. I've been looking at drafting chairs and don't really want to fork out that kind of money just in case it's not what I'm looking for, but this stool looks pretty good!
