When I am stitching and I reach the point on the table where the black rails are connected -- I have a noticable rough spot that I recognize when at the front of the machine -- but when I go to the back of the table and try to feel for them -- I am not finding it. It really shows up when doing free motion - close work - feathers/stippling etc. Any suggestions on what I can do to get rid of this rough area?
I am sorry you are having a problem with your table. Make sure that the silver rails are alligned before the black track is put into the slots on the rail. If these joints are staight then you should not be able to feel them as you sew. The other thing that you could be feeling is a piece of thread. Make sure that you do not have any thread that has gotten wrapped around any of the wheels.

Good Luck,
