Studio Frame

Is the "studio frame" the same frame that comes with the Fusion? I saw the studio frame this weekend and love it. Now I'm just trying to decide if I want the HQ16 or the HQ Fusion. Decisions decisions.

Another question on the studio frame. I am space constrained but could really use the 12' length. How much trouble is it to go from 8' to 12'? Do you have to completely remove the head of the machine to make the switch? I am considering getting the frame and leaving it at 8' until I need the extra length.
