I am having a problem with a little vibration from my table when I quilt fast. I have the HQ Professional adjustable table not the quiltable. Does anyone have a solutions on how to stablize the table so that it does not vibrate. I have it in a carpeted area on a very stable floor so I know the floor is not the problem.

Thanks,
Pam
Have you checked the level of the table and the level of the machine? I had this same problem when I first set up my QuilTable and found that it was out of level. Hubby leveled the table then the carrige and all is fine now.
I haven't checked the level but the table seems to be pretty sturdy. It is fully extended and am wondering if the weight might cause the middle to sag a bit. I will check it out and see if that is the problem. I also have my dealer coming by today for some training so I will talk with her about the problem also. Thanks for the info.
The QuilTable is also a very sturdy table. Sturdiness of the table doesn't come into play with the level of the table. You will need to check the level of the table in several different places. We used an inexpensive level we purchased at Lowe's. You can also get them at WalMart in the hardware section. You need to check all four corners, mid way between the two corners on each end and several places through out the middle of the table.

One way to tell of the table is not level is if the machine head rolls on it's own.
Thanks for the information. I'll have my husband check the level. I also found out from my dealer that sometimes if you have the table extended the full length that it sometimes will sag a bit causing the vibration. She said that she has a leg that you put in the middle, also sold by HQ, to help with this problem. I didn't ask her the cost because I figured my husband could possibly come up with something that would works. We will start out with checking the level before we invest anything else into it. Thanks!
