Towa guage really helped to solve my problems. No more guessing!! I am very pleased with my results so far. I've ran several different types and weights of threads and was able to find the right upper/lower tension for each and now I have exact settings for the next time I use them. I wish I would have listened to the advice of my friends and purchased one long ago.
It was worth the investment.
