I just posted a photo of the completed quilt top "Journey to Our Star". I now have it sandwiched and pinned and have begun tying with a muted varigated yarn at the corners of pieces &/or blocks. It is very hard to push the needle through these three thicknesses, so I'm wondering what quilting pattern might be appropriate to do instead. Completed size is estimated to be 95" x 95".
Lovely quilt top. You might want to take a look at some of the photos posted at www.mqresource.com to get some quilting ideas.

In the large triangular area a feather motif would look good. STD around the flying geese. Feathered leaves would be great for the borders.

But that definately is not a quilt design for tying.
