Your bottom tension should read between 200 and 220. You will probably need to loosen your top tension to match the bottom. When the thread keeps breaking, it is usually a sign that your tension is too tight. You can have a perfect looking tension (where the top and the bottom meet in the middle of the fabric) and have both of them too tight. I hope this helps you. Good luck.
