My first touchscreen passed away (no longer viewable) so they sent me a new one. This touchscreen is viewable BUT you cannot interact with it. Tapping it does nothing. I have to lose another day of work because calling tech support when you are not at your machine is pretty much useless as you cannot do what the tech needs you to do. If anyone knows what I need to do PLEASE let me know.
Cyndee from the yahoo ProStitcher group said she cycled through the pc/av cycles and it came back for her. This didnt do it by itself for me at first and then I thought I will hold the pointer over the shutdown button and cycle it through pc/av and it worked! Now my question is do you think there maybe a future problem with this monitor and this is only a temporary fix or do you think it just didnt have the touchscreen calibrated before I got it? It isnt perfectly aligned but I don't know how to find the program that would calibrate it more tightly. Please let me know what I should do in email as I really cannot afford to stay home from work again this week.
